Jawaharlal Nehru university welcomes you to its annual technical festival TECHNOPHILIA-10. Its a blend of both technical and non-technical skills of IT students from all over the nation. Its a platform where you can be an exhibitionist, an innovator, a learner and good enough to prove yourself. Technophilia-10 will provide students a platform to come together and explore the realms of computer science and technology. In true sense its an event where actions speak louder than words.
Technophilia gives them an opportunity not only to learn but also showcase their talents. Past experience says that Technophilia brought a spectacular celebration of technology and was special in more than one can imagine. It’s the evergrowing interest among the participants of various elite colleges of India for the event that makes it a huge success. History of Technophilia-
Today’s fast paced world, science and technology hold the key to the future. Science and technology not only change our lives but rather they revolutionize it from the way we think to the way we live. Moreover, it is equally well known that today’s students are tomorrow’s professionals and there is an indispensable need to foster their ingenuity and imagination. Bringing together these two extremely potent forces is Technophilia – School of Computer and Systems Sciences of Jawaharlal Nehru University’s technology festival.
Technophilia 2009 is the third edition of the Technophilia. The third version is coming with a little bit of changes in events on 17th- 18th January 2009 at School of Computer and System s Sciences.This version includes two new events Query Fury related to SQL & Google Googly related to searching and excludes Just A Minute. In Technophilia 09 ten technical and four nontechnical events were there.
Technophilia 2008 is the second edition of the Technophilia. This fertile land of technology was cultivated by 32 teams from 23 reputed technical institutes and colleges like IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, IIC, NSIT, Delhi University, Jamia Hamdard, Jamia Milia Islamia. We brought to students competitions that test their skills, extract their talent, promote their imagination, and not to forget the fun and festive spirit of a college festival!!! The Events included some Programming Contests in C/C++ Language on Linux platform, Technical Quiz, Program Debugging Challenge, Website Designing, Algorithm Design, Puzzle Contest and some exciting non technical events including LAN gaming. We were highly obliged and satisfied by the overwhelming response of students stating it as a great experience from January 19th- 20th 2008 at School of Computer and Systems Sciences.
Technophilia 2007 is the first ever technology festival of School of Computer and Systems Sciences of Jawaharlal Nehru University, is the first edition of the Technophilia. We had around 17 teams from 13 colleges including Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and computer science department of Delhi University. Technophilia 2007 provided students a platform to come together and explore the realms of computer science and technology. Technophilia gave these students a golden opportunity to not only learn but also showcase their talents. The first edition, Technophilia 2007 brought a spectacular celebration of technology and was special in more ways than one can imagine. We hope that the students had a great experience from January 26th – 28th, 2007 at School of Computer and Systems Sciences of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
